Save the Clock Protest

Hong Kong has been surrounded by controversy this week. On Saturday night, the government shut down the Star Ferry Pier a landmark of Hong Kong since the end of World War II. Another pier was built for the ferry about a block away further down the harbor. People are espcecially mad because the clock tower will be put in a museum not on the new ferry building. The clock was made by the same people who built Big Ben in London. These pictures were taken Saturday night a few hours before the last ferries would leave the old pier.
